Alpha Phi Omega

Exec

The Alpha Phi Omega Exec is an eclectic group of people. Their job is to make sure everything in APO runs smoothly. If you need anything, don’t be afraid to ask any one of them.

Service VP: Alicia Michaelsen

Membership VP: Andrew Neill

As Membership VP, I’m in charge of making the roster, recognizing graduating seniors, giving out the friendship award, and coordinating the membership retreat. I’m also encouraged to keep up with people’s grades and develop leadership in the chapter. If there are any disputes between members I can act as a mediator (in confidence, of course). At the end of the year I run CPPC’s  which are evaluations of the chapter.

I’m I APO because I like doing service. I was in a service council in high school and now service just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I was also a Boy Scout so this is a good continuation of the Scouting ideals that I value and enjoy. Also the girl to guy ratio is pretty much unbeatable, unless I went to a breast cancer support group.

Treasurer: Ashley Slaughter

Pledge Trainer: Jennifer Braatz

Hi! I'm Jennifer and I'm the Pledge Trainer for APO.  Basically, I will help
out all the new members by introducing them to the history of APO and what APO is all about.  I am in charge of weekly meetings and planning events so pledges get to know the active members.  It's going to be an awesome semester and I can't wait to know every new member!:)

I joined APO my freshman year in order to meet people and do service.  I
stayed in APO because every person I have met since then has been an
incredible person to know.  I have made many of my friends through APO and we always have a good time, whether we are doing service or hanging out on a Friday night.

Fellowship VP: Molly Wilkinson

I plan fellowship activities for the chapter. At the end of the year, I also
plan a totally awesome Semiformal where we dance, hand out awards, and introduce the new exec.

I joined APO the Spring semester of my freshmen year to get involved and meet new people. I love doing community service and APO was a way for me to do that at TCU.

Rush/Public Relations: Matt Munson

Hi I’m Matty Munson and I’m head of Rush/PR. It’s a simple job, but someone has to do it.

I joined APO expecting everyone to be surrounded by uptight introverts who only cared about community service. I was wrong.

APO is full of some to the best people I know and when we’re all together it’s always a lot of fun. The people in APO are so diverse, you’re bound to meet someone you’ll be life-long friends with.
